District 9 is an action-science-fiction thriller about an alien colony in South Africa. The extraterrestrial race, called "The Prawns", is living in a slum-like colony where they are exploited. However, the government is now forcing The Prawns to evicuate to a different location. One of the operatives is exposed to some alien chemicals and finds two Prawn friends in the process.
