Starry Wish by Gary R. Hess
This poem is about wishing for a great future for my unborn children. When this poem was written, I simply couldn't look at the world and see hope, so I looked into the stars and made this wish.
Category: Miscellaneous "Starry Wish" Stars and moon from heaven Clouds and sunset above Comets flying through the air Look down on me and give hope Beautiful space, wonderful space You're here forever for me to see Here for my daughter to love Here for more to ponder and voyage I wish upon you this night Not to give me something But give the world new life and dreams For the earth is old and ragged This land is torn by hatred and corruption The sea is flowed with acid and pollution Save the world before it dies Save the world before its day by Gary R.
